I'd like a low-APR (preferably with perks) Visa or MC - which is best?
I have a Costco AmEx. I'd like to get a regular, non-store branded card, preferably with a low interest rate from either Visa or MC (don't care which bank issues it). It would be nice if it offered perks of some sort, but that is secondary to a low APR.
Can someone make a recommendation?
This card would be for every day purchases when AmEx isn't taken, or if I needed to carry a balance (unlikely, but you never know).
My credit score is around 760. I'm trying to make all purchases on a CC now, so I can use this as credit history to purchase a home in 2-3 years. If you have any other suggestions on how to help build my credit so I can get a 30 year mortgage, I would be grateful! I just bought a car, but I bought it outright (no financing). I have less than 5k in private student loans (9.5% interest) and I am paying $650 a month on them right now.
Thanks!
