Update: I was able to snag an award reservation on CO for my g'f. Virgin Upper Class (CO codeshare) BOS-LGW, returning on CO BizFirst LGW-EWR-BOS. It must be ticketed by tomorrow midnight (US eastern time), so I called the friendly folks at Amex Black and they said they'd give the transfer "priority attention". It's a truckload of miles, though. 150,000 instead of the normal 80,000.
