Hi,

I'm planning a road trip in June and looking for a nice car to rent, my starting location is Long Island or NYC, not sure yet, then heading up to Vermont and Montreal.

I'm trying to find a convertible to rent, but it seems quite expensive and only 1 company have them on offer (dollar). It works out to about 1200 bucks for 8 days.

• I was wondering if anyone has any tips or if anyone know where I could get one cheaper?
• they don't specify make / model. What I the chances I end up with a crappy car?
• I would ideally like a V8 or similar
• Will need large enough milage allowance.
