iirc, on aa and now within 1 world, changes to routing can be made to the award as long as the origin & destination stay the same....changes to either require a new award....for non 1 world partners, the routing of the award can changed.....a new award is required for org or dest or carrier[s] change....

so the change from hkg to mnl will require a new award....
