How many roamers are going to be packing LTE compatible stuff. Certainly, there will be HSPA roamers if Verizon implements the fallback, but I think the frequencies are all wrong for that. I think their LTE is at 700mhz.
I doubt Verizon will get much from the Japanese tourists in HI given the technology differences. There is no HSPA on Verizon. Their best fallback is eHPRD (when it hasn't gone down along with the LTE.....
