Good to know. I didn't take the CO flight because it's not the new BF seat, it's a 767 which is unrenovated to my knowledge.
No, UA/CO/LH are all part of the ATI, so they share revenues for TATL flights. I guess if you book the LH flight on CO site, you'd never have the option of booking it as LH flight#.
So that's what I don't get in terms of philosphy. If they are sharing revenue, why can't one use *A miles on a LH flight that has a CO codeshare? Is there a business strategy here? I just don't understand the codeshare concept if they then restrict everything.
AND IN TERMS WHAT TO DO NOW. . .Per the responses above, it seems like my only option is to get a UA SWU Paper and use it at the gate. So they work on codeshares (it's weird cuz this flight is CO and LH, not UA). And it would sitll be a risk, since there are only 2 seats left, right?
