Well, if you book on lh.com, you will get purchase-$ miles through your credit card. You wont get the bonus miles of course, because you purchased elsewhere.
However, do you see the same flight on co.com coded as an "LH" flight? (this happens pretty frequently, based on inventory available). Set your search status on co.com to 50 results or more. THen, scroll down all the way to see if CO.com sells the LH flight as an LH coded flight.
CO SWU's are for CO metal only currently. There is no two ways about that.
Star A upgrade rewards need non-codeshare numbers. No two ways about that either.
