This is the main reason I stopped using it. I've seen them in the stores and they are time pressured to get the shopping so they just grab what's at the front. Meanwhile, I'm opening crates or bags to get the fresher fruit and veg as well as digging round the back of the meat displays to get the freshest items.
I've shopped regularly for years at a Sainsburys before moving to where I am know where Asda is the only big supermarket. There is a Waitrose, M&S and Tesco Metro, but they don't feel like real supermarkts to me (coming from Oz). I find the produce can be great some days and not so good on others, but the staff are much friendly than any other shop. I've gotten to know them over the years, particularly thouse on the check-outs and chat about their personal lives.
Each time I go to Tesco's it seem so impersonal as a result. If I moved and if it was the closest/only store I guess I would shop there, but I'd miss my Asda. Points or no points, I wouldn't change my current shop.
