Just as an FYI, we traveled BOM-LHR with our kids in bassinets in F. If they're small enough to be in a bassinet, they're probably very young. Ours were a month. They would generally spend most of their time sleeping, getting up every couple of hours to feed. There was definitely a few minutes of crying when they woke up (Mom and Dad were awake for most of the flight to handle any crises.), but for the most part, they were sleeping.

There were two other passengers in the cabin and they didn't seem to have a problem. On the other hand, we were on BA, which had a larger F cabin, so more room to spread out.
