To echo BBBs comments, sadly we carry so many customers to their weddings that we are not able to offer upgrades on that basis, although there are often great upgrade offers online at manage my booking and considering the overall budgets for weddings it is worth considering that, after all it is a special trip and hopefully a once in a lifetime. One point I would make though it that most dress carriers are outside our hand luggage dimensions and there is a good chance that it will not be allowed a carry on. BA.com has advice on packing a wedding dress and that is the advice I would recommend.

Weddings can be stressful at the best of times, add to that the logistics of flying there and getting guests etc there too and it can be a real headache. I am sure that your fiancé will become more and more stressed as the date approaches. My strong suggestion would be to plan for back ups at the destination, don't rely on the hotel or resort to arrange it for you as you may have differing standards or expectations to the person out there.
