And one thing to highlight. Most bags do make it no problem. But there's no guarantee all bags will make it. Given the importance of the event, and what could be in your bags, what are your contingency plans if the bag containing the wedding dress (or suits) gets delayed en route?

(there are also threads on FT about how to transport wedding dresses to minimise creasing!).
