Yeah most certainly? With TK let me tell from experience. It will be a seat on the plane or denied boarding. Istanbul may give you something or ignore you completely.

And some pax over at mileage run think their mileage plus number after 28 calls makes a difference? 1K or nothing whatever - no difference at all.

Then TK would be in violation of IATA rules and should be expelled from the organization. Not to mention a protest note to the EU transportation commission to put on the record that this country is not worthy of entry into the union...
