My instincts would be that you would be able to secure your diamond benefits on arrival, although you most likely will not earn any points or stay credits. I have had many stays where I did not receive stay and point credits at various properties for conventions, etc with special rates, but have always received diamond benefits when presenting upon arrival.

Since the rate at the LVH is so cheap anyway, there aren't going to be that many points and I have qualified for Diamond for this year already, so unless there is a QF3N offer third quarter, don't care about the stay credit. It's the free buffets and internet I am concerned with, and in all honesty, like most other HH diamond members, it's the main reason I stay there.
