Any new experiences on this? I have always checked toiletries in the past leaving PEK, but will try to carry on this time. Any issue with <100ml versions of toothpaste, shave cream, etc.?

I got oddly burned once with a small bottle of Purell in Xi'an--they took it away from me at the checkpoint.
