A friend asked me to pick him up a bottle or 2 of some booze if the price is right @ NRT, does anyone know if they check ones carry-ons at NRT before boarding a US carrier to see if you have any liquids?

@ some European and ME airports I was asked and always said I didnt have anything while I did but they never opened my carry-on and went with whatever I told them, not having been in Asia for a few yrs I dont know what they do there and @ NRT in particular

so even if I find it on sale at the US Gateway on my way out if they will catch it on my return, no sens egetting it and taking it with me as I wont be able to do anything but throw it away, yes Im flying with a carry-on rollerboard only
