It's be a couple of years since I flew out of a US airport.

When I pass through the security checkpoint and opt up of the machine, I understand that the TSA agent will ilkey do a very personal pat-down.

However, are they really allowed to touch my "junk"(as someone calls it) as it touching/grabbing it... or move it from side to side? (all in the name of airline security to look for contraband/dangerous items)

I am extremely anxious just thinking about this possibility. It has cause many sleepless nights, ever since I booked my reservations.

Let me exaplain why.... When I was in 6th grade, the minister at my church did exactly that to me. He only touched and grabbed "it" while I was fully clothes, but it was humiliating/disturbing to me at the time. He claimed that it was to see if I was "developing properly..." I was a dumb young kid and didn't report it to my parents or anybody else. This happened several more times, always on Sunday school, until I was in 7th grade. Then my family moved, so I kind of just buried it or tried to forget about it as much as I can. I still feel very much ashamed whenever I remember the terrible thing that he did. It's been over 25 years and I still can't completely forget it.

I really don't know what... I"m afraid that I'm going to freak out if a random TSA agent touches me down there.... I know they're just doing their jobs... but still...

Any advice appreciated....
If you are asking here then you already know the answer you are going to get, and you "should" also know how unlikely it is to be an accurate representation of the facts.
