The OP wants to know if it is a possibility that his genitals will get touched and moved around in the course of a standard pat-down. You actually know the SOP for a pat-down (unlike the rest of us), so your answer would be helpful.

A useful answer could be, "while it is not SOP or the intention for genitalia to be touched during the course of a pat-down, during the course of a patdown, as the hands move up the leg towards the torso, it is possible that the genitalia might be be grazed. At that point, the moving hand should stop. It is not SOP to grab any external genitalia and move it side to side inorder to check for hidden contraband. Should a screener do this to you, ask them to stop and ask for a supervisor."
