Many Latin Americans have a similar issue - in Latin America, the common use is Firstname Paternal last name Maternal last name, but AA wont; allow it, so on aa.com you wind up with the two last names turning into one name, creating problems of various sorts (passport matching, purchasing from an agency, etc.)

Instead of having Juan Martinez Alva, one winds up with Juan Martinezalva on AA. After years and years, AA plays dumb about the whys and the cure. By the time they actually fix it (one assumes it will require Jetstream?), I will only be able to ride AA as Jim Wilson.
