While you may be able to check it all the way from EZE to Calama I would be very surprised if you don't have to pick it up and carry it through Customs in Santiago before placing it on a transfer baggage counter. Just like the other day when I checked in at Curitiba for Lisbon. The baggage check said CWB-GRU-DFW-ORD-LHR-LIS but I needed to grab the luggage in Dallas and run the Border Control gauntlet.
