Get phone numbers for a couple of cab companies before you leave for the restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant, ask the person at the front desk if they could call a cab for you when it's time for you to depart.

Chances are excellent they will say something like "Sure, we do that all the time."

If not, you have your back-up list of phone numbers and can place your own call shortly before you are ready to leave.
