The only problem with a 1hr transfer at FRA (and I do BHX-FRA-TXL/VIE/PRG/MAD quite often) is the wretched security that's what often takes the time. However, I've not missed and hours connection at FRA yet, although I have cut it fine once or twice.
Of course, if Fraport could land UK pax in a suitable area, we wouldn't need to go through security again.
