We have stayed at FS Maui many times over the last 15 years. We often go during the first two weeks of December to avoid the festive season. Many of the employees who we have come to know over the years told us to never come during that time of year. The competition for reservations, lounge chairs, and cabanas is outrageous. Families send their nannies down at 4am to sit on chairs. The atmosphere is not "easy going" like it is other times of the year.
