Add his name to the reservation and he can check in; but, if you never show, you will NOT get the points.

Also, keep in mind that if he swipes his CC at check in, you must have the front desk change the method of payment to YOUR CC when you arrive. Unless the payment comes from a CC in YOUR name, you CANNOT earn points.
