I hear ya, cept there's this thing called secure flight where your birthdate gets entered into your record. It used to be the date could be changed, I've noticed in the last 6 months that it can't. It's not worth it if you are caught.
Let's be realistic - nobody is checking that DOB against any of your ID. Provided you don't put in the DOB of a terrorist that has your name, the birthdate isn't affecting anything.
