Below is what my reservation shows on CO.COM. How could the travel time be 2 hr 53 mn outbound and only 27 min on the return? Is the traffic jam that horrendous on a Thursday morning departing EWR? And how does the return 1 hr 27 mn on the clock (0830 to 0957) translate to only 27 mn, anyway? Last I checked, Toronto is on Eastern Daylight Time. Besides, travel time accounts for time changes, doesn't it?
