This is not "typical behavior from a SWA passenger" and I'm curious if the person who told you this actually flies WN. The most typical are the newbie passengers on their way to see the rat in MCO or the families/one off fliers that just pack too much junk and clearly don't know what they're doing - but you see those types on every airline in Y class.
