Working fine for me at the moment. Bear in mind the IT is not always having a good day and, personally, I've found IT less likely to work when booking hotel for only part of my flight dates.
The bonus thingy posts a week or so after your return if you do book both together; the bonus BA miles are as set out from the BAEC homepage after selecting: collecting miles then holidays.
