Agreed, flew on a BEH ex-YHZ with my niece and after coming back from the lav (into 1AB) the pilot let her stand in the doorway and chatted with her. But there were only 2 others on the flight. The first row on the BEH has a pretty reasonable view of the cockpit anyway.
