I generally don't have a particular problem with the logo change, but I have to say, slapping the globe into a white box on blue background as on the twitter page looks like something I'd do with my non-existing graphics skills.

As for the actually new twitter handle... gotta wonder why United didn't use the shorter version from the beginning (maybe they had to have it taken away from someone else?) since every letter counts on twitter...
