It would be much nicer if LH had the kind of piece concept system that BA has, where status PAX with economy tickets get 32kg allowance per bag instead of 23kg.
I have been charged in the past when checking in at FRA with one bag of 27kg where piece concept applied - even though I had a senator card which allowed 2 bags at 23kg max.
Very often on business trips I do some shopping which puts my suitcase around 25 - 28 kg. Now i'll have to pack a cardboard box inside to bring back the extra shopping.

This year i've shifted about 70% of my flights from LH -> BA. BA have substantially better lounges at LHR than the pitiful SEN lounges in frankfurt and so far no NEK seats on BA. Lack of premium economy and now the baggage changes made four reasons.
