One of the best J class options I can find is NZ287 (AKL - Beijing) and then KLM to AMS. This is shorter duration than NZ2 to LHR and then waiting around for a connection to AMS
From memory the quickest Star Alliance option to do that is NZ6 AKLLAX and then LH457 LAXFRA connecting on to AMS. Budget 27 or 28 hours (including layovers).
Recommend ticketing it as an LH fare (220 stock) to save a few thousand dollars.
