In SFO you should have access to the RCC, in FRA one of the Business lounges, most likely the Tower Lounge.
I have registered for frequent flyer miles with United, but not with Lufthansa. But I understand they are both Star Alliance. So can I claim miles flew on Lufthansa with United?
Yes you can claim miles from both LH and UA flights on your UA frequent flyer card.
