There are exceptions to all rules and at the end of the day it's revenue that make these companies turn, so if there is a customer spending half the nights you are but spending 10 times the money on said nights, they are a more valuable customer to SPG than you.

Theoretically thats correct, practically i am not sure. a friend of mine who used to spend more than $80k at a single SPG property every year was denied Platinum. Gold was the best they could offer.
