This flight is direct, with a stop in YUL. The only problem or concern is that they claim that the outbound flight has a stop in Montreal for the AC booking, while with Brussels airlines, it's a transfer (2 seperate segments). If I continue onto Brussels, can I remain on the plane? I have to check in at the AC counter anyhow, just like those who booked the direct AC flight. And I'm not worried about the return since I have to clear customs in YUL anyhow.

I have flown the YYZ>YUL>BRU route once (not home, but outbound) and we did have to get off the plane, yes. It was about an hour layover. The (small) MLL was just down the hall from the gate. Same plane though. No transfer or anything.
