These questions are in regards to a AC flight, but booked using Brussels airlines (code share flight), so I hope I am posting in the rtight forum...
I am looking at booking 2 pax in a YYZ-BRU, one being in J class on AC, and since I can't book a second reward ticket in J (even though the entire cabin is currently empty), I will buy the second ticket in the back of the plane...
Looking at the Expedia results for the same flight, there's a significant price difference between booking with AC and Brussels airlines, even thiough they are both on the same flight. (-> 832 <- 833). With AC is around $901 while it's $782 with Brussels airlines, codeshared on the same flight). (-> 9554, 9552 and <-9551, 9553)
This flight is direct, with a stop in YUL. The only problem or concern is that they claim that the outbound flight has a stop in Montreal for the AC booking, while with Brussels airlines, it's a transfer (2 seperate segments). If I continue onto Brussels, can I remain on the plane? I have to check in at the AC counter anyhow, just like those who booked the direct AC flight. And I'm not worried about the return since I have to clear customs in YUL anyhow.
Also, do I get full 100% status miles with this booking? I can't see the class of service properly.. Is it "V" class?

It's really sad that it is impossible to book to J tickets together on the same flight. (I'm tangerine)
Thanks in Advance!
