from your point of view, it is 100 room nights, agree. however, from spg's point of view it is 5 nights because a member gets only for his one room night credits and points. it could be that the other 19 rooms are also occupied with spg members and thus, they will also get spg points @:-)
i would ask the hotels inhouse reservations manager if you could get some extras for your stays.
an upgrade to plat is not realistic in my opinion @:-)
sorry but your post makes no sense....whether i book 100 rooms for one night or 1 room for 100 nights, it till be 100 nights nevertheless....if all the stays were at a single property then the op could expect special treatment....but the op & his family will be occupying 100 rooms across 3 different properties over a 20 day period so why would any single property offer any special benefit????
