Yes correct. Amtrak tickets have to be picked up at the Amtrak station in EWR.
As you exit the AirTrain...Go up the escalators..and you will see the Amtrak Kiosks. An Agent is there till about 5PM. But, you can print out your ticket in one of the kiosks by using any credit card and your CO Flight Number for the Amtrak Train.
Agent (if present) can assist with any change in plans for the train segment.
