If I am correct this card comes with car rental coverage, extended warranty coverage and retail protection coverage. No lost luggage insurance and no trip cancellation/interruption service. Although I have never taken advantage of any of the last two benefits but I presume this card will be used primarily for travel and most likely booked through travelocity so they were very big potential travel perks in certain situations. Does anyone feels the pinch here?
I think the bigger issue is that the AMEX does not seem to come with death/dismemberment coverage when travelling on a common carrier, which is very unusual. I haven't actually seen a credit card not come with this coverage, but it was not included in the list of benefits that came with the card.
