This can't be right but.... I used to be a regular QFF prior to moving to the US. Mrs oblong and I still have about 180,000 frequent flyer points and wanted to unse these in august this year to fly back to Oz for a friend's wedding. Qantas wants $1300 or so in taxes and charges for 2 frequent flyer tickets in economy SYD-LAX!!!! Stone the crows!!! united it's 250 in taxes for both but I am slightly short on the miles for 2 tix. Thoughts????
