Sorry for the delayed response as I apparently failed to sign up for the instant email notification. Thank you so much for all the detailed information! Potakas and smirnoff especially!! I am definitely one of those people that do better when knowing what to expect.
Cornishsimon we are arriving at 6:55am to LHR on AA flight 174 and then getting on BA 662 (767) departing at 8:50am so less than 2 hr layover - which we have had no issues with before but with baby in tow things might be a bit more complicated.
Smirnoff I switched us to 12DF on the first flight but for the second seatguru is saying that row 9 has reduced recline, is this right? Also wondering what makes you prefer 12DF over 1 DF.
BingBongBoy thank you! Yes still nursing!
Not sure if any other parents can weign in - we normally would push baby in a maclaren snap and go type stroller frame while in her carseat. This would prevent us from being on stairs/escalators - we'd have to take elevators unless we fold the stroller and hold the car seat - also would have to fold up stroller while getting on the bus etc.
For maximum flexibility given the short layover should we plan on wearing the baby in a baby carrier and carry car seat/stroller on our backs (we have a backpack type car seat bag/carry strap for stroller frame)? We would not be able to walk as fast probably carrying the baby. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
