I've only been upstairs in BP on the 744 once, but I have to say I was really not aware of Y+ pax looking at me - and that's despite being in the 2nd to back row. The only time you were really aware of it was when walking to the bathrooms - and nothing makes you more aware of the 'economy' in 'Premium Economy' than when you've just got out of your BP bed, in the middle of a deep sleep, to see the Y+ pax in all their contorted positions trying to sleep.

I think the BP/Y+ mix on the upper deck is much worse for the Y+ pax than the BP ones. Those beds do look extraordinarily appealing when you're feeling uncomfortably upright - so close, and yet so far away...
