I will be landing on a redeye flight on a upcoming monday from SLC-JFK, and arrive around 545am....I will have one checked bag, one carry on.....If I went to use the skyclub to take a shower, how do I claim my bag? is it a good idea to leave on baggage claim? its not a fancy bag, just a plain colored one.

I will be traveling to CT, and need to be showerd when I get there.
