I stayed at Crowne Plaze at LGA once when I arrived very late at night. It is actually within walking distance of LGA - about a 20-minute walk. I didn't feel like calling and then waiting for the shuttle to show up, as I have had bad luck with that at other hotels. Anyway, it was very convenient to LGA...
