Shadow, Is it possible that the FF's in FC were there as a result of using miles? I don't have any preferred status in any program, but since most of my travel (which is mostly leisure) is transatlantic, I usually accumulate a reasonable number of miles. Add to that the Diner's club miles, Visa miles, etc, I usually come up with enough miles to "buy" a decent number of upgrades. I would probably show up in a manifest as just an FF.
