I also prefer the newer one, but since Obama stayed there it seems to have been more than the MH. Regardless of what you think of Obama, it blows my mind that where he stayed would make any difference to people's travel choices, but apparently it has....

BTW - the linked threat is a bit out of date; the MH seemed to have upped their RA recognition, perhaps in the realization that they have competition - I have been UGed from cheapest room to Terrace Suite at the MH, for example.
