QuietLion: Great trip report on one of my favorite places on earth. I've probably been up to Ashland about 15 times over the last 12 years, so reading your report brings back fond memories of very pleasant times. I'd like to hear a little more about the Peerless Inn; I've never stayed there or even heard of it.

I saw Henry IV Part II last month and it was superb. We picked up last minute seats and they turned out to be front row center. I usually buy tickets in November for the following season, but the stop in Ashland was unexpected and we still did pretty well.

I quite like Firefly, too, and also especially enjoy Monet. I recently heard about a place a little out of town called Sonny's Bistro that is supposed to be the best restaurant in the area; can't vouch for that as I haven't been there myself.
