I just got back from a stay using a Suite upgrade and also getting a regular View Room on the 12th floor. Full report with pics here.

Interesting things to note:
1) The chef apparently left RH, so the specialty breakfast items, like the eggs perigourdine are gone. The menu now consists of basic french toast/omelettes and they encourage Diamonds to do the buffet, but they will still comp if you order from the menu- at least that was my experience both days.

Another thing- I had a run-in with the protesters Sunday morning. I have no issues with unions/protesting, but they verbally harassed my partner's mother ON MOTHERS DAY, which kind of set me off. I didn't want to engage with them, but when they went after mom, I had to do everything in my power not to flip out. It was annoying and I hope the hotel comes to some sort of resolution, because I know this issue has been dogging them for a while. It wouldn't necessarily stop me from staying again, but I'd prefer not to have to deal with that situation in the future.
