I have also noticed the speed and efficiency with which european flight crews can dispatch cabin service. Plus, it's *good* food! On recent LH flights to and from Munich (4 flights no more than 1hr 15min), the crew came through to dispense drinks, served full (cold) meals, more drinks, and finally drinks again! On one of the flights (50min), where in the US you would get peanuts only, we were served excellent baguette sandwiches with meats or cheese. If only you didn't have to go outside the US to experience this!
