I used to fly with Cathay quite regularly a few years ago, I always had points credited to Qantas. Once a travel agent stuffed up and used my asia miles number, so it seems I have 14,496 points that expire in July.

I can only use it to redeem a very short flight, and that doesn't match any of my plans over the next 2 months. I'm in New Zealand so there is a limited selection of things to purchase with the miles.

Any creative suggestions for options with the points? Otherwise I'll just end up getting a pair of headphones or a memory card or something.
