Much of what I said could probably be interpreted as indicating that DL should see a responsibility to provide special meals. And that is the decision that DL has made.

You continue to distract from the original point... that DL, having offered the meal, has a responsibility to ensure they are delivered to the PAX who accepted DL's offer to provide the meal.
